She was running better earlier this year but most of those were a bit shorter distance. Moving back to six furlongs may help here. Trainer Pullaway and jockey A Williams will have to get their heads together and get this filly straightened out. <\/p>\n

Her biggest problem is consistency as she is all over the board speed-wise from 89 spf to 110 spf. Trainer Ruby9 has her looking good in workouts this week so it may be an \u201cup\u201d race for this filly.<\/p>\n

Nice little three year old chestnut filly by Star Programmer. She has won six of fifteen to start off her career and five of those were stakes wins. She has only hit triple figure speed numbers once, when she finished 2nd in the Black Label Turf GI four back. She is coming into her own and could pose a problem for this crowd. It is probably more likely that she is going to bloom into a wonderful four year old runner.<\/p>\n

Morning Line favorite is really on her game right now. The four year old Danehill out of Mine Trader filly has won six graded stakes in a row and is the number one rated filly at this distance. On top of that she has A Craig in the stirrups who is moving along at a 24% clip. This little lady looks like way too much horse for the rest of this field and I will be mightily surprised if she doesn\u2019t end up in the winners circle. <\/p>\n

This amazing three year old Aldebaron filly has won nine of fifteen races. She started her career with four consecutive wins on dirt and since has become a strong turf sprinter and ranks number one in that department for three year olds. Trainer Sdmf has to worry a bit about her last outing as she stumbled in the stretch and went from 1st to 6th in the Wilted Petal GII. As a matter of fact, that has recently been the problem with TEQUILA SHOOTER grabbing the lead and then running out of steam at the finish. She needs to pray for rain as she is even a better off track runner.<\/font><\/p>\n

Lightly raced three year old Swain offspring has really had a nice start. She has won five of seven and in the money every race. This will be her first foray out of the strictly three year old condition and she might have to wait a couple of more months before she is really ready for that. A frontrunner that loves the lead, she has only one triple digit speed figure and it figures that it will take that to win this race.<\/p>\n

The three year old is by Summer Squall out of broodmare Storm Mount. She is going to have to step it up to finish higher than fifth in this crowd. Could be good experience but a tough race.<\/p>\n

She won a conditional allowance four back with a 98 SPF but that is her best race this year. She seems to be in a bit over her head here and with Jones up in the stirrups, she is fighting upstream I\u2019m afraid. She could pray for rain as she has won three of three on an off track.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s been a bit of a disappointment this year with just one win earlier in the Angelic Handicap stakes after visiting the winners circle four times last year. She has been inconsistent and hasn\u2019t run a really great race yet in 2005. Her last two were especially bothersome as she finished seventh in each. She needs to turn it around but may need to visit a little easier company for awhile.<\/p>\n

This four year old uncharacteristically went for the lead early last outing and ran one of her best races only to finish third when she faded at the end. The Favorite Trick out of Aragon Storm had a nice start to her year then went through a little slump before her last outing. Is she ready to challenge again? Will her new tactics work? This dark grey four year old beauty hasn\u2019t run a sprint race since January of last year. It\u2019s been almost two years since the last time. The Silver Ghost bred filly has won nearly a third of her 28 races but only one was under a mile and that was her second race as a two year old. It will be interesting to see if she can change distances that drastically.<\/p>\n

The races only five year old is this Palace Music out of Much A La Con offspring. Her record shows ten wins in 44 races and tons of consistency. Not quite as many wins this year as in years past, but still finding a way to get onto the board. She is well rested and seems primed to put in a good performance here. She tends to hang back and look to come from behind. It isn\u2019t getting any easier for this gal as the youngsters are improving as we get to the end of the year.<\/p>\n

The Grand Dame of this race is seven year old Mother Bluff. She has forgotten more racing than most of these young fillies have experienced. The Pilsudski mare has won 18 times and still puts up very solid numbers every time out. While most gals her age are doing nothing more than visiting the breeding shed and nuzzling their young colts, this pretty lady still spins around the race track and shows the youngsters a thing or two. She may do it here as well.<\/p>\n

This sire appears to be a one horse race. I wonder if some of the youngsters are ready to break through. Number one ranked three year old Tequila Shooter<\/b> just doesn\u2019t seem to be able to finish lately and will once again miss the board. I like STORMIN THE GOLD<\/b> to finish fourth, just barely behind the more consistent SINGING STONE<\/b> I think it looks like Irish Bred COCOA<\/b> is ready to step up with the big girls and will take second. But ELSINORE<\/b> is on top of her game right now and sure I don\u2019t see anyone beating her. She should win going away.<\/p>\n
